Robson Street

Vancouver's Robson Street is a chic and upscale shopping district lined with many specialty stores, restaurants, bars, and hotels

Stretching from BC Place Stadium in Downtown Vancouver to Denman Street in the West End, Vancouver's famous Robson Street is a popular destination for tourists and locals alike. On warm summer evenings, the popular shopping portion between Burrard Street and Denman Street has a party like atmosphere. Traffic moves slowly between sidewalks bustling with locals and tourists exploring the many specialty, clothing and gift stores or sampling the fare of the many renowned restaurants and clubs.

In addition to the many independent boutique specialty shops you will also find many major upscale chain stores especially in the vicinity of Robson and Burrard.

Near Burrard and Robson you will find the Vancouver Art Gallery and Robson Square. Robson Square which was designed by the renowned Vancouver architect Arthur Erikson is the home of the Provincial Law Courts and the University of BC satellite campus. It also features the only outdoor ice rink in Vancouver which is free to use.

A little farther east along Robson Street you can view and photograph the compelling architecture of the Vancouver Public Library which is located just a short walk from Stadium SkyTrain Station on the Expo Line or Vancouver City Centre Station on the Canada Line.
