Rogers Arena

Vancouver's Rogers Arena is the official home of the Vancouver Canucks NHL team

Located near BC Place Stadium. Rogers arena is home the the Vancouver Canucks NHL franchise. It was first opened in 1995 as General Motors Place, but the naming rights where purchases by Rogers Communications in 2010, thus the name change.

Rogers Arena has seating for nearly 19,000 fans for NHL hockey games. It was the venue for ice hockey during the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver during which time it was temporarily called Canada Hockey Place.

In addition to hosting Vancouver Canucks home games, Roger Arena features numerous big name concerts and a number of other events throughout the year. If you don't have the opportunity to take in an event or game, guided tours of the arena are available for a nominal charge on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Bus Connections

No Buses Needed. From Stadium-Chinatown Station exit onto Dunsmuir Street and go left (east) staying on the sidewalk on the right hand side of the Dunsmuir Viaduct to the Rogers Arena entrance on your right.
From Yaletown-Roundhouse exit onto Davie Street and head east to Pacific Blvd. Go left (north) continuing where it turns into Expo Blvd. Rogers Arena is on your right past BC Place Stadium.
